In hindsight I probably shouldve used this image at some point, cause I really like how water lilies look poking out of the water before they've fully bloomed. I'd wanted people to look at them and sort of compare them to Abigail's story. The first image had 2 flowers for Mae as well, so i used it.

These were some pictures I took for The Heart of Our Lagoon. I'd never gone and taken pictures with a purpose before, and didn't end up using most of the pictures I took, but I enjoyed trying to give a sense of scale even though these were in a very, very tiny man made pond in a park.

you can love a character and still admit when they're wrong. we love Iris but we can acknowledge her flaws (she has none) and we can hold her accountable for her wrongdoings (she has never done anything wrong in her life) and call her out on her actions (which are always correct)
