Utah peeps, come hang out with me at the Springville Library on Saturday! This is my second year celebrating Utah Authors Day with them, and I can tell you that last year they were PACKED. Over a dozen authors will be there, plus free refreshments!

I'm back from the Quills Conference! This is my favorite writers' gathering every year. I got to do some teaching and lots of learning and won some awards in the writing contest. I had so much fun meeting other writers and teaching workshops that I actually lost my voice 😅

Kicking off my Miyazaki Summer by viewing my breakfast in the most Romantic lens possible. Made sure to pick one of the pretty breakable bowls -- and wouldn't you know, it DID make the fresh blackberries taste sweeter! Can't wait to see what other overlooked joys jump out at me today

One of my favorite bits of worldbuilding in my fantasy book series is the circular calendar, which has 5 seasons instead of 4. Today marks the first day of the growing season. It's a time to nurture the seeds you've planted so far this year, literal or metaphorical.
