A nice evening for an extended, indirect commute.

I took in the new bridge to Govan from the Transport Museum.

I passed this while riding through Springburn Park. The condition of the steelwork suggests it wouldn't be economical to save the building but, if it could be saved, could it serve a useful community function?
Looking through an arched opening in a brick wall from the winter gardens building. There is no window in the opening. Through the opening a line of columns can be seen, leading to another opening in the opposite facade. Skeletal remains of Springburn winter gardens. The picture shows the lower brick wall with bare steel structure above.
