Glad you liked the pics. I was looking for some lunch & spotted the Church of the Yew on the Oogle-maps. Alas, lunch place was closed, but the grounds were open. The church was as well, but I thought I'd leave a little mystery; ya never know where the adventures may take you... Very pretty place 😏✌️
Entrance to the International Welsh Rarebit Centre (Cheese on toast) Alas, closed in late afternoon, but maybe next time... Rolling hills of Wales, west of Brecon Beacons. With an escarpment of the Beacons nestled way back, centred in the frame & at the horizon line.

Ta butty! 😄 It's a bit of an odd spot, really; where ancient byways became roads & where they came together, a Yew grove marked the meeting spot, I think then the church was built? The wood was very cool to the touch, and the soil, red loamy clay. Quite the pretty place... 😏✌️

Interior of the Yew shade at St.Cynog's, multiple Yew boughs rising from the same point with a hollow trunk on the left, a walkway through the middle & another tangled bough on the right. The Yew at St.Cynog's, from the other side, four main boughs of a narled at tangled ancient Yew, looks like a hand rising palm up from the land.

English springer spaniel called Fred, he has a mostly white body with chocolate brown splodges & a mostly brown face with a white streak down the middle & muzzle, he has a brown nose with little pink patches. His favourite thing is currently wind blow leaves 🍃 & his older brother Harry!

Had this for six months, big velcro wrap, opposite directions top & bottom, then has big velcro straps too. Hole at the back for flex & a hinged bar on both sides. You can tighten a lot of pressure in it, but it gives "straight leg" kinda walking.

Saw this today & thought you'd dig it, a kind of end table or just a wildly beautiful glass thing... 🤔🤘
Wild glass sculpture table made of glass strands, blue in colour & cooled while still seeming liquid. If you imagine long, thick strings of heated glass that are allowed to dangle & cool in various lengths & thickness; some of which are short droplets & longer ones have been allowed to fold over each other to form a supportive base. These thick strings of glass have been vertically grouped while still hot & the top of each strand has been patted down flat to form a horizontal uniform surface, as a table. Wild.

But, strangest of all, the very instant the shore was touched, an immense dog sprang up on deck from below … and running forward, jumped from the bow on to the sand. Making straight for the steep cliff, where the churchyard hangs over the laneway to the East Pier

Whitby Abbey at sunset, as viewed from the Royal Hotel where Dracula was penned. The Abbey was then a ruin with only the church alone to the left of it upon the cliff top with the east bay side of Whitby port beneath, at the shoreline.

View including undesignated lane in the heartland of Wales, rolling downhill towards rolling foothills & a patchwork of farm fields in the middle distance, then at the horizon line the Mountainous Brecons pass. Pretty sure this one was up & away...
Crowd of crotchet mice look up from their world, atop a post box; at their departing brethren in a crotchet hot air balloon. Part of a uk wide art project to bring art to the people, the flat tops of free standing post collection boxes are perfect temporary installation points & crotchet mice in life scenes are a theme, in this one the escaping balloon is suspended from a wire above the other mice & the wire dangles from a piece of wood, wedged into a large bush in the nearest garden to the postbox.

Newgale, Pembrokeshire 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 for low vision users: lunchbreak selfie, rare sighting of a Gen-X poet / hermit, very long hair tied back in a tight bun, large beard with big moustache, bright blue mirror shades. Pic is at a beach in Wales, autumn mid sunset around 3:45pm with a tidal break of smooth beach stones behind the alleged human & a coastline at the horizon point that is similar to the coast featured in the 1980's film "The Goonies!"
