Looks great! If you garnish it with fresh herbs or green onions it can both add a splash of colour to the dish’s visual appeal and add a new flavour element at the same time. Keep up the good work and enjoy your food journey!

My mother almost never pays for books; she started writing reviews on Good Reads when she retired and publishers started reaching out to her asking to send advanced reader copies to review before release. She loves it and has actually met several authors irl at conventions who thank her for reviews.

Honestly, same. The one time I had an office job people used to tease me about my chair being adjusted all the way down, so my desk was right up at chest level. Said it looked like I was “sitting at the kiddie table”, but damn it felt good to work like that!

If it’s a translation issue, or done to intentionally jar a reader to redirect their attention, that’s fine. Too often though I see authors use obscure words as a vocabulary flex, see how smart I am? Now don’t you feel smarter for having read my book?! I hate that, just stop it already!

First I’d stop comparing yourself with others, they aren’t you and you aren’t them. The best person to compare yourself to is yourself, have you grown or improved? Yes, great! No, why not? What could you have done differently? Would that have had a better outcome? Start from there, you got this!

The guy also still worked harder than he needed to, he made a sphere when a cylinder would have been easier to make and just as effective at rolling.
