Why is it censorship for a firm to decide not to sell a product? Maybe Steam think they won’t make money putting in their platform or maybe they just don’t like the devs. It’s not censorship anymore than someone not turning up to a talk is cancelling.

But it’s digital media, Steam don’t have a monopoly on distribution or resale. They are big sure but if someone wants to buy the game they can, it’s a much lower barrier to entry that shipping physical goods.

Not all apprenticeships are “trades”. Have had around 30 go through in cyber consulting. It’s a hard path though and the university courses they do are all pretty awful (as in full of irrelevant stuff).

A private company decides not to sell something - how is it different from debanking a nazi or a pub banning someone from their premises. Isn’t Steam getting a pass, not because it’s a video game, but because this is really normal behaviour for normal companies?

Personally, I don’t have a problem with them doing this. Imagine how much better the world would be if the other giants of the Internet had taken a similar approach and been held responsible the content they host.
