Loving having some of the guys from @dicecompany.bsky.social guesting on this podcast- one question though, are the playing characters based on these classics, or is it just coincidence? (Alan-Adam’s from Robin Hood, rat king from amazing Maurice & Kaa from the jungle book)

Growing up a little further towards the coast (within a mile of Burton Constable hall) there wasn’t any apart from a mound called daisy hill

The dice are awesome - the level of detail are amazing! I’ve only cosplayed twice but Discworld Death is my fave 🤩

I love Vander (& the original line up) but I’m fairly sure he will either die horrifically or, become the next emperor.. and I’ve never fallen for Tock’s sweetheart facade.. whilst Petren carries the hope and optimism of the world actually turning out better 😉

I’ve never used Linux but have a few old laptops kicking around is it a good platform that’s easy to install? I’m especially intrigued as I have a couple steam games that only work on pc, that I’m interested in enjoying

*I simplified character sheets, or chatted through and pre-chose spells and included descriptions, created a cheat sheet of their character for me, to make it easier

With character prep time* & one-shot prep time I’ve just done a 5e one-shot with kids (attention span of youngest was hardest) but each one-shot I included practical fun things & Silliness. Recently I led ‘the Christmas fey’ fighting gingerbread & candy canes (which they got to eat)
