The word 'terrorist' is used as a label to not identify actual terrorists (otherwise, it would at the very least be applied to mass-murderers, if not also to soldiers, commanders, legislators, and politicians dropping bombs, issuing the order to drop bombs, or advocating dropping bombs on civilians - especially everyone who had anything to do with the dropping of 2 nuclear bombs on Japanese cities during WWII), but for governments to excuse themselves from needing to follow ANY laws relating to that specific individual (or more commonly group of people). That's it, nothing more. They want to strip peoples' citizenship? 'Terrorists'. They want murder, maim, and/or torture people? 'Terrorists'. It's just a way for them to be able to do whatever they want to whoever they want, legally.

For example, forget about unions and volunteering for a moment (both of which are amazing, but just IMAGINE how terrified the fascists would be with a combined anarchist-communist militia in your nearest city. Militias don't need hierarchies necessarily; you can definitely operate on a role-based structure based on individual skills (even accountants and sales folks are important to effectively obtain various materials affordably, for instance), and you can utilize zero trust with separation of duties and the principal of least privilege so that the more paranoid (rightly or wrongly) of you don't get too worried about getting shot in the back. Heck, you can even go as far as to ensure that every role has a relatively equal number of anarchists versus communists if you want. The details will be difficult to sort out and agree upon, but it's definitely doable and most importantly, you can affect change together like this in ways that you'd only dream of separately. "I think a lot of Western liberals (and even leftists) don't understand the, "why," and therefore the, "how," of anti-Russian propaganda: It used to be that anti-Russian propaganda was clearly because the USSR was run by Communists - and the West, being capitalists, were genuinely afraid of what might happen if we were to learn the entirety of the truth about Russia. So then, how could what's being said in the West about Russia now be propaganda?! After all, Russia became hyper-capitalist in 1992! It's actually fairly simple. The West is no longer afraid of Russia - they're just happy to use them as a scapegoat for everything because - while they are no longer the West's enemy due to ideological differences - they are now a part of the West's major competition in the International capitalist system. It's really just a win-win to be able to blame Russia for everything bad that's happening in the World because it gives them an easy target and also because they can use these 'reasons' to enact sanctions, push for proxy-wars, etc. all while making themselves richer and more powerful and the common people (us) poorer and less powerful. As a simple metaphor, the West used to hate the USSR the way that gangs hate community groups that kept them out of their community - and now they hate Russia the way that gangs hate other gangs competing for their territory."

Yes, it's absolutely terrible that we still haven't got the electoral reform originally promised by Harper and then promised again by Trudeau, so we now have a minority Liberal government that didn't win the popular vote. But, I have a question for you: Did you speak up when the Conservatives had a MAJORITY government even though they lost the popular vote? If not, STFU and let the grown ups talk. Kthxbye

Honestly, Canadian Conservatives need to do exactly what they told non-Conservative Canadians to do when Harper was elected (and re-elected) without the popular vote: Get over it, you snowflakes! LOL Seriously though, I hate that we don't have electoral reform. Maybe instead of being particularly partisan pansies, Conservative Canadians can coordinate with non-Conservative Canadians... To take action and force this government to enact electoral reform, rather than just bitch and whine?

I just got a call from someone claiming to be a federal officer in the Cyber Crimes detachment. I'm certain this is fake, as he claimed my IP address has been tied to anonymous accounts that have been harassing people online (I haven't used anonymous accounts in probably years, and even when I did, I've never harassed anyone online). If anyone knows anything about this, have the perpetrator(s) contact me immediately, because otherwise I will be contacting the police and they will get a warrant to obtain call records, etc., and long-story short, whoever called me will likely be charged with impersonating an officer and criminal harassment.

As it turns out, someone from Kelowna, BC decided to claim that I created a fraudulent email account - pretending to be them - which they claim I used to defame their character. Apparently their proof that it was me was that they had been in an online argument with someone by the same name as me, who also insulted their music or something like that (to be fair, it's terrible), and that they traced the IP address to my hometown. My guess is that the second part was a lie, and that they knew I was from that town (and they knew my phone number) because of my campaign Page from when I ran for town council. In any event, the police are aware of the situation, and the next step may be to open up an investigation with the federal police, because it looks like that call I got was almost certainly this person or one of their friends impersonating a federal officer to harass me.

Last night we visited a Buddhist Monastery (pictured) and saw a Hindu Temple.

Today we saw a Sikh Gurudwara, on the way to visiting 2 more Hindu Temples, and a Christian Church.

This evening we visited another amazingly beautiful Buddhist Monastery!

Bangladesh is certainly religiously diverse!

I'm fairly certain the answer they were looking for was something along the lines of: The Communist Party of Canada -OR- The Communist Party of Canada - Marxist-Leninist I don't support or endorse either of these parties, but I'm fairly certain that's the answer they were looking for. I'm no fan of the Liberals either, but this shit is fucking ridiculous.' Along with the preceding text, a screenshot of the comment by Brigitte Belton that is the topic is added. In it she says, "Fred Pilon the liberals..they are following Nazi Germans playbook. 1st clam citizens with mind altering drugs. Nazis use overdoses of fluoride. Liberals use pot. For everyone else: That's such a well-said lie, and it perfectly showcases exactly why Millenials not only hate the Boomer mindset, but also why we're wary of Gen-X as well. Some of Gen-X seems comfortable pretending they did enough to fight back and are now either taking credit for the work Millenials have been putting in, or have allowed your worldview to be twisted by the Boomer mentality that you're actively fighting Millenials and Gen-Z with the Boomers. Thankfully though, many of you realize now that they didn't try hard enough, and are being supportive of Millenials and Gen-Z as we work together to fix the mess left to us. And, if you honestly think that, "OK Boomer," is ageist, you're either purposefully neglectful of the fact that it's been/being said to people regardless of their age, or you've probably been tricked by someone with the Boomer mindset. Frankly, the literally thousands of articles written and shared by Boomers and Gen-Xers trashing Millennials for simply existing is what most of the quote at the beginning of this post really applies to. We aren't refusing to continue a conversation because it's uncomfortable. I'd argue Millenials have had to have some of the most uncomfortable conversations of any generation. And oftentimes, we were the ones who had to bring up the topic before it was too late, because older generations were generally too scared to. We're just tired of arguing with people who aren't willing to do their part, and who have an unearned sense of superiority - because it's a waste of our time.

That, "you people," quote you keep seeing in memes and media outlets like the National Post (who might be looking to sign Don Cherry as their resident right-wing asshole)? That isn't the full quote. He makes it clear that he's talking about immigrants. He actually said, “you people love … you people that come here, whatever it is, you love our way of life, you love our milk and honey,” blah blah blah... You know the rest of his verbal diarrhea by this point, so I won't bother repeating it. The point is, "you people that come here," is the fuller part of the quote, and is how we know he's a racist POS. Defend him all you want, but at least know what you're defending.

Hey Facebook peoples, I just had someone essentially insult my family (who are all immigrants) by claiming immigration is a scam that doesn't help the Canadian economy, and who also refused to acknowledge the racist overtones of the majority of anti-immigrant rhetoric. If you'd agree with that sort of bullshit, please do me a favour and just delete my account(s) from your friends list. There's a lot that I'm willing to deal with in order to stay friends, but when you insult my family or my intelligence, then I don't need you in my life. Kthxbye

If you're having a debate with me and decide to bring up my high school years, how I didn't follow the beaten path most of my life, and how I occasionally change my opinion... You aren't doing what you think you are. I mean, yeah... I'm going to be a little bit annoyed that you're attempting to use logical fallacies to, "win the argument," but really you're also just making me remember a bunch of pretty awesome things about myself: 1. In high school, I was literally the first person in years (maybe decades) to start constantly wearing all-black with silver coloured chains, rings, etc., dying my hair black, wearing black eyeliner and nail polish, and whatnot. Each year, more and more kids started having a similar style. In fact, that style boomed shortly after I graduated. Obviously that style was around already in big cities and in the US, UK, etc., but in my small conservative hometown, it was risky to actually be different from the rest, and even riskier to be willing to show it. I've had a few people tell me that seeing me dress the way I wanted to gave them the courage to do the same, and that's an awesome feeling. 2. If you think I hold my left-of-centre views just because everyone else in the town is Conservative, then you haven't really spoken to people in this town. Yes, there were (and are) many people who consider(ed) themselves Conservatives, but when you really talk to people and listen to what they have to say, you realize that they actually have a lot of left-wing ideals - they've just been lied to about what left-wing really means, so they can't admit that they are. Oddly enough, I've known people who were much more left-of-centre than I am who called themselves Conservatives for years until they found something or spoke with someone and finally figured out otherwise. And I'll continue exploring my left-of-centre views and hopefully showing people that they aren't as Conservative as they thought they were, thank you. 3. One of the hardest things for me to do when I was younger was to accept new information and change my views accordingly. Looking back, I see that as one of my younger self's only real vices. Thankfully, I've overcome that, so when new information is presented to me (along with proof of its validity of course), then I appropriately adjust my opinion to concur with said new information. If you think that's, "contradicting," myself, then all I can really say is that I'm sorry you haven't gotten to that point in your life yet, and I hope you do soon, for your own benefit. Franky, in a lot of cases, I've been either ahead of my time for my hometown, or just plain ahead of my time. Many of the points I used to argue where the majority were against me has been completely flipped on its head, because for some of those points, my opinion has stayed the same for years (or decades) and now the majority actually agree with me. Thank you for reminding me how awesome I am. :)

Wow, people really don't appreciate it when you point out that they've been supporting genocide. The most hilarious take I've heard so far boils down to, "well not everyone can afford healthy food, so that's why I kept feeding my kids Oreos." As if they're not ridiculously expensive compared to the non-genocide Mr. Creamy knockoff (that tastes better anyway). Seriously though, delete me about it - your comfort and brand loyalty doesn't trump being against a literal genocide (that you disgustingly called my politics - how pathetic).

If you support genocide - whether it be the one committed by Nazi Germany against Slavic peoples, Jewish folks, the LGBTQIA+ community, etc., or by Israel against indigenous Palestinians - please remove me from your Friends List and your life. We aren't friends - because I refuse to be friends with anyone who supports genocide.
