On December 14, CyberWell Founder & CEO Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor will address the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance Plenary Session in Jerusalem to present "The New Antisemitic Denialism Beyond IHRA."

Another voice for Holocaust education has been silenced by hate.

Julie Gray and her partner Gidon Lev, a Holocaust survivor, have 460,000+ followers on social media, but faced so much hate that they made the difficult decision to stop posting Holocaust education content.

A modern-day "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" is taking root on social media: the "Tired Islam" (الأسلام المتعب) conspiracy. It's a fabricated plot alleging a Jewish scheme to destroy society. This is classic antisemitism repackaged to take advantage of social media engagement algorithms.

The term has never been an inclusive term for hostility toward all people who speak Semitic languages. Claiming you can’t be anti-Semitic because you consider yourself a “Semite” is nothing more than a dangerous rhetorical device to justify hate.

Don't let manipulators redefine hate.
December 11, 2025 at 12:49 AM
The misuse of the term “anti-Semite” to claim immunity from Jew-hatred is blatantly inaccurate and misleading.

The truth: Antisemitism is prejudice, hostility, or discrimination against Jews. Only.

By linking Jews with a category today synonymous with institutional power and oppression, it reinforces age-old tropes about Jewish influence and manipulation.

This distortion creates a dangerous paradox where Jewish identity is both lost in a generic category and demonized as the worst part of it.
December 10, 2025 at 9:01 PM
The false narrative that Jews are white isn't just an erasure of the diversity of the Jewish diaspora spread across the globe or the persecution Jews have faced throughout history. It also weaponizes modern concepts of race against Jewish people.

A new lawsuit alleges that Meta conducted research that found a 'causal' link between use of its apps and negative mental health outcomes — and then buried the findings.

These platforms can be fun tools, but users should never have to pay to use them with their wellbeing.

Online hate isn't abstract for those who are targeted with it. Antisemitism on screen is felt in the real lives of Jewish people, impacting their sense of safety and leading many to hide their identity. It's not just pixels — it's a threat that can jump off the screen into real-life violence.

X's new "About this account" feature has begun rolling out, displaying location, join date, and username changes, in a positive step toward greater transparency. It may help unmask inauthentic accounts and combat coordinated hate campaigns.

CyberWell uncovered "Tired Islam," a new conspiracy theory spreading online. This hate, based on a fictitious book that claims Jews have a plan to destroy Muslim society, is being promoted as a religious obligation — complicating moderation and encouraging users to repost false, hateful narratives.

As the documents highlight and CyberWell has tracked, Al Jazeera uses its social media accounts as tools to spread Hamas propaganda, sometimes even using the same rhetoric and wording as the terrorist group itself.

New documents from the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center revealed close coordination between Al Jazeera and Hamas, with Al Jazeera actively conveying their messages and promoting Hamas’ psychological warfare.

The combination of false information and lack of transparency have been weaponized, with social media users taking Grok's posts to antisemitic conclusions about Jews trying to "secretly" post violent speech and getting special treatment from X.
November 25, 2025 at 10:08 PM
Grok appeared to confirm a disinformation post this week that claimed X had disabled translation from Hebrew because of "Jews" posting violent content. It was unclear whether this was accurate, but the damage was already done.

CyberWell identified the newest antisemitic conspiracy theory picking up steam online in Arabic-language videos: "Tired Islam," and it's spreading centuries-old antisemitic tropes, reminiscent of the "Protocols."

The digital space is not an egalitarian "marketplace of ideas" where the best ideas naturally dominate and the worst ideas are left behind. It's an imbalanced space where the most provocative content, including hate speech like antisemitism, is algorithmically amplified.
November 21, 2025 at 7:41 PM
Allowing these victim-blaming narratives on social media in the wake of a real-world act of antisemitism only reinforces the cycle of hatred and violence against Jews. Social media platforms must counter these incidents with proactive monitoring and consistent enforcement of community guidelines.

After recent vandalism at a Jewish school in New York City, CyberWell tracked the antisemitic response on X and Meta platforms. The primary narrative that "Jews did it" included:

1. "False flag" theories
2. Collective blame toward Jews or Israelis
3. Hateful imagery and tropes

There is an undeniable pattern between online antisemitism and offline acts of hate against the Jewish community.

CyberWell's research repeatedly finds a dangerous cycle of violence:
1. Organize acts of hate online
2. Fetishize the harm
3. Deny what happened
4. Incite more violence

Jewish people face a daily deluge of online hate. It's a 360-degree experience on social media, happening in our feeds, direct messages, and even comments. But we can't give up on social media altogether. It would only be a win for the Jew-haters, who will go on hating us whether we're here or not.
November 17, 2025 at 9:15 PM
Like the debunked antisemitic tract "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," "Tired Islam" claims to expose a secret Jewish plan to control or corrupt non-Jewish societies. But unlike "The Protocols," we have the chance to stop this new conspiracy theory from taking hold in the digital space.
