My nine y.o. #QC35 has a new lease on life! I definitely use them more than my QC Ultras as they are more comfortable for long stretches of meetings throughout the day. Not sure what Bose tweaked in the newer designs, like sure the sound + ANC are better but why mess with the almost perfect comfort?

7 years ago while in #Edinburgh for #OSSEU I walked past this building after dinner thinking it looks cool and reminds me of #Gringotts.

This year while checking out hotels for our August trip there I'm like hey this looks familiar! And booked it. And got upgraded to the suite right under the dome.

Living room in a king suite almost as big as my apartment's, with a view of the Edinburgh castle. Bedroom (definitely larger than mine) under the dome where the dragon would be perched on. Bathroom big enough to dance in, with both shower and bathtub. And more lovely views of Edinburgh.

#AgathaChristie: #TheMousetrap is the longest running play in the world, with a good story but unsatisfying reveal. OTOH #WitnessfortheProsecution is staged in #LondonCountyHall where you're part of the action. Actors for both were brilliant, but plot twists + comfy seats made Witness more enjoyable

Work trip to #London bookended with leisure - we managed to squeeze in 2 Agatha Christie plays, 2 IMAX movies, a musical, a lunar festival, Uber boats to 2 museums & a park. Sensory overload - London is great but only in small doses! Now back to my cocoon...

Tally at the end of August: 11 trips so far in 2025. Staying in Finland for the whole of September feels strange but nice. At least I'm actually *in* Finland for my 18th anniversary (tomorrow) here!

Turning 50 is a big milestone (though one that I wasn't too thrilled to commemorate). My partner planned a surprise trip to #Hanko for us "just for lunch", with me taking the wheel for a major part of it! Enjoying views of #Finland from above was icing on the cake. Well the t-shirts will be put to good use as I'll have to spend a night at Helsinki airport hotel due to flight delay (and I'll miss the last bus home)

A tale of two t-shirts: the fitted ("for women") XXL is still smaller than the regular size S. From the same brand. 🤔

The #Anker #powerbank I had for less than a year was being recalled, and they sent me a replacement. However the new one is twice the capacity and twice as big! I wanted something compact to fit my handbag (that can still recharge my phone twice), not a huge brick.. can I even bring this on flights?

My third time at wayout.fi in #Tampere, this time exploring a lucid Dream. There were a few neat elements but the other 2 rooms we solved here previously (Train, Royal Betty) were more compelling. We woke up with just under 3 min left on the clock.

My sis joined me for the weekend in #Boston couple weeks ago. It's such a walkable city, plus we were blessed with great weather. We did 26k steps on one day and 30k the next (video is from day 2). Btw the NPS app is an excellent free resource for navigating the #FreedomTrail and more - nps.gov
