So bland. Taste like they just walked plain chicken through the spice aisle and called it done.

West of Toronto there is a Halifax Donair in Milton.

I love a good shawarma as well, but this is different beast. sweet garlic sauce.

In Ontario and crave them all the time. The garlic sauce is easy to make, and I can get the bread, but the right meat is more elusive. There was a Halifax Donair takeout place where I lived last, but we moved in 2024. *SIGH*

My mind was blown the day I found out it dries up before it hits the ocean now.

I dunno. I kind of agree with him on this one, but not sure what the solution could be.

US gives water to Mexico in response to dried up Colorado River and in return Mexico gives water to Texas. But Mexico hasn't been able to meet their quota.
December 10, 2025 at 5:29 PM
The Colorado river dries up in Mexico because so much is being siphoned off. To compensate, the US gives water to Mexico. In return, Mexico agrees to deliver water from the Rio Grande to Texas.

Due to climate changes (yes, actual climate changes), Mexico has not been able to meet their side.

My only objection is trying to pass off store-bought as homemade.

I was in some SPX calls from 1:35pm ET and happily sold them at around 1:45pm for 40% profit. Then I watched them immediately jump up over 200% in the next couple of minutes on that news.

oops. :(

Seems redundant. You can just say politician.

They don't need loans. They're rolling in money because they save grocery money by eating the cats and dogs, apparently.

Bought one of those backpack leaf blower/leaf vacuums at a yard sale this summer for $40. Smartest decision of the year.

I tend to prefer linear regression over trend channels, but seeing the same.

Years ago I went visited Utah to hike in the Moab desert. The evening we arrived, we went into the national park, away from everything to look at the stars. The Milky Way was so bright, it was a band across the sky. Awe inspiring moment. Nature will never look as beautiful as it did that night.

Market cap bigger than the GDP of every country on the planet except the top 3.

Was this supposed to say "heading into ER"? I'm assuming, but wanted to make sure I'm not missing something.

Was it you who posted a report that some politician family members were buying tariff debt from companies for pennies on the dollar, banking on this to not happen?

A couple of months ago, the CEO of McDonalds gave the same assessment based purely off their internal sales data.

it's great they're available online, but you miss out on all the Easter Eggs.

I can get on board with all that except the stock market. It keeps hitting new highs. Tariffs way lower than initial threat, interest rates coming down. My overall portfolio up over 30% so far this year.

It’s temporary though. Only 3 shutdowns in the last 50 years have lasted more than 5 days.
October 5, 2025 at 12:33 AM
What do government jobs have to do with the stock market?
October 5, 2025 at 12:19 AM
Government shutdowns don’t tank the market. It doesn’t really affect it. From an investor standpoint point, the tariff outlook is far better than it was in the Spring so they are happy. Interest rates coming down as well. Since May I’ve been telling clients to expect bullish Q3 and Q4
