A lot of my optimism faded over the past few years when it became clear that EV adoption was stalling, rather than acting like a logistics curve. Even my own parents are so blinded by range anxiety (having never filled up at a station) that their next car will be a PHEV instead of another EV.

These people are so car-brained that they think tolling us back is fair retribution, meanwhile congestion tax's most ardent supporters don't even own cars at all. They'll simply tax their own commuters again on the way home! Lol.
