This version of scrooge is nice to animals at least even if he loathes the human creature.

Christmas's past. Parties at my Aunt's house. Waking up and unwrapping gifts under a tree.

And it's to the reason I like the FX version. The stuff about eating the rich so to speak is upfront text in this version. It was never about hating Christmas.

Scrooge hates Christmas specifically because of all the frivolity. He's an absolute buzzkill.

The FX version isn't the best or even my favorite but it does do alot of interesting stuff. It gets that it's not the hatred of Christmas that makes Scrooge an asshole. It's his absolute hatred of humanity.

It's easy for me to turn into Scrooge. I'm an introvert who doesn't care much for people. But there is a day. Well a day and a half where I'm more inclined to be generous.

Eghhh Growing up I liked the series and wanted to binge it but it's in that Stargate place where you kind of need to start at the movie.
