My wife is single-handedly responsible for half of that movie's viewings. She may be able to make it a cult following of one if she has to.

I 100% agree. I know I don't have an answer as to what the correct response should be, but I know that we need to be better humans than those who spout hate and division.

I get the desire for consequences, but denying disaster relief hurts innocent people, not just politicians. If we stoop to those tactics, we risk losing the moral high ground. Let’s find ways to hold them accountable without abandoning our principles.

Fighting for change with integrity, even when it’s harder or feels slower, is what keeps us from becoming what we’re up against. Let’s demand accountability and real action, but not at the cost of our humanity. That’s the line we can’t cross, even in the face of how broken things feel right now.

I hear you, and I understand your frustration. It feels like our country is being torn apart, and the instinct to fight fire with fire can be strong. But if we start adopting the tactics we oppose—denying help to those in need based on politics we risk losing the very principles we stand for.

NO. That would be equally wrong to deny those in need as well. Common sense gun laws = Good. Refusing to help in a disaster = Bad.
