The “Rainbow Keyboard of Evil” imagery is screwing with me so hard just because I got randomly given one as a gift, and The homelander thing feels like its trying to co-opt the idea of digital art as being the same as AI, it doesn’t even mention AI in the text, just vague allusion to “an idea.”

I see this come up a-lot, My nuanced thought is one very much can enjoy something frequently without it being a fetish, but one mustn’t demonize fetishism entirely, but also importantly, a fetishist must understand and respect the boundaries of others.

Its probably because it refuses to acknowledge its original identity, and even in its new identity, it tries too hard to make the new identity look like when it was youthful. (Ok probably too fancy, but basically they don’t acknowledge STW and its entire brand identity is limited to Chapter 1/2 BR)

I ponder how far this desire to automate design itself can actually go. Will anyone actually want to live in these house of leaves homes? Or will they end up just another rot in the pile of homes made unaffordable by the flawed idea a home must be an investment?

There’s probably an interesting correlation with how the original Guardians of the Galaxy succeeded as a breath of fresh air in the superhero scene that entire industries (including the MCU itself)then tried so hard to emulate its vibes that its vibes became a symbol of bland and boring corporate.

I feel like the characters of concord had passion put into them, but the push for a realistic art style, making it a hero shooter, along with making a peter quill Expy the lead killed it so hard. felt like it had so many pushes to make it generic that it ultimately became generic.
