This is not even the "end point" for where they want to take this. Sadly they are apparently aware that even getting "rid" of all trans people is only an appetizer for them for getting "rid" of everyone who disagrees with them.

The entire structure of the Capitalist Nightmare induces people to go with the flow. If trashing trans people is "easier" than fighting for them, many companies historically do the thing they perceive as easier. If trashing trans people is "difficult" they might not.

In my experience people hate it when you mention that there are things they can do right now to help people in need. They are looking for validation that "there is nothing that can be done", so "they are smart for seeing that."

This is a good point. Untrue, unkind and irrational viewpoints are generally not useful and giving them space is not helpful.
