Well, after a few lost #HardcoreMinecraft worlds and the ruins of several incomplete castles, I've instead veered into one where I'm more or less set.

Well, I did it! I defeated the Ender Dragon for the first time ever in my Hardcore Minecraft world!
Amazing what being prepped out of one's mind can do to make things easy. The most stressful bit was climbing the towers to break the end crystals.

Sooo...remember when I said there was deep dark near my home in my Hardcore Minecraft world?
I did some exploring of it to rack up XP and diamonds to replace the ones I used for the netherite. While a couple shriekers went off, no wardens were summoned. No city, either. #HardcoreMinecraft

So, we're setting up a villager hold after digging out an entire trail ruins near my base in Hardcore Minecraft.
Admittedly not my best build, but it's at least cleaned up and has plenty of space for a whole new generation of villagers. Economics ahoy! #MinecraftBuilds

Soooo...I found something in Hardcore Minecraft.
I ended up downing an Ominous Bottle and got some pretty nice things, but no heavy core to make a mace. Slight bummer, but new armor trims and even more enchants is never bad.

Soooo...I found something in Hardcore Minecraft.
I ended up downing an Ominous Bottle and got some pretty nice things, but no heavy core to make a mace. Slight bummer, but new armor trims and even more enchants is never bad.

So, this new Hardcore Minecraft world is going so much better than the half-dozen before it.

So, this new Hardcore Minecraft world is going so much better than the half-dozen before it.

Well, it wasn't safe, and I nearly died a handful of times...but I got the lava.
Max-level enchanting station that has yielded me a Fortune 3 diamond pickaxe. Brings a tear to a man's eye. #HardcoreMinecraft

I created a separate smaller hutch for an enchanting setup and my main home is lined with barrels and chests for storage.

I created a separate smaller hutch for an enchanting setup and my main home is lined with barrels and chests for storage.

We've also build a subterranean farm and livestock pen area off it. I'm kinda in love with arches in my builds now.
