When the Civil War was over, the Reconstruction phase began... but those who were Confederates were extremely resistant. Jim Crow laws. And they coined "The South shall rise again." They kept their racism alive for generations. What we see today is the fruits of that. No more being nice about it.

Apparently, Microsoft's CEO (Satya Nadella) has been feeling raw about the fact that "AI slop" is a commonly used (derogatory) term for AI generated images... and he wants it to stop. And publicly said so.
