Passionate about voting rights. Interested in social justice for everyone. Taught multimedia creation at Cabrini University. Love gardening because I can get dirty and help living things grow.
Of all our menorahs lit for the second night of Chanukah, tonight I prefer Carl's middle school snake sculpture menorah creation. 🕎🕎

Found another toy that my kids abandoned while playing in the backyard about 30 years ago. This Army Guy joined the other buried toy treasures that have worked their way to the surface - on display in my kitchen window sill. Makes me smile every time I see these childhood treasures 😍😍😍

So very unusual that the little daffodil sprouts are peeking out of the soil the same day that the remaining snapdragons are blooming in my garden! #ShiftingSeasons #ClimateChange

Can you imagine trying to figure out the add-on consumer price I had to pay for all the tariffs included in this package of unsalted nuts from #costco? #JustFrigginNuts_Literally #TariffImpact

105 years ago today, the 19th Amendment was ratified, granting women the right to vote, — except Native, Asian, Latina, and some African American women.

The League of Women Voters was formed 6 months before. We honor the suffragists who fought for our rights on this anniversary.

Six days post-op with my new knee, I’m using a walker to navigate around the gardens to deadhead 🌻🌻🌻 #AddictedToGardening

You know that you’re really into voting when you are in a @lwvus Zoom in the hospital just 6 hours after total knee replacement surgery. #VotingIsImportant @lwvcdc @lwvpa @annemos.bsky.social

My summer garden usually peaks on July 4th. Guess everything is a bit climate-early this year. #GardenFlowers

Saw National Guard sent in to "contain" protesters in 1970. Escalated everything & 4 Kent State University students were killed on campus my freshman year. Guarantee the military presence of Guard in LA will incite violence. Thinking that it's really Trump's goal. Then he can declare martial law.

Little tiny bird egg ended up on my porch today. Should I feel guilty for putting 3 birdhouses in trees next to my porch? Please ease my guilt 😔😔😔😔

Many thanks to Dawn Francis and John Doyle for the tour of their new work home - Eastern University. Here's the new radio station that John built. As usual, they are giving their students amazing educational opportunities. ❤️ 👏 #BestComProfs #Cabrini @johncdoyle.bsky.social @jerryzurek.bsky.social

Just found another Army guy in the garden. Think a squirrel unearthed it. Added it to my kitchen window formerly-buried-children’s-toy collection. #buriedtreasure #kidtoys #growinginthegarden

I've seen the proof that USAID does good work. Here's a photo I took in Guatemala, where USAID tents provide the only shelter for some families. We must stop this American government coup by billionaires. Starving children around the world are depending on us. #USAID #StopTheCoup

Gender Equality! We’ve met all requirements for the Equal Rights Amendment to be part of the Constitution. We can protect everyone from gender discrimination—but it’s stuck in limbo.

When our Pennsylvania county's board of elections is deciding which provisional ballots to count, a couple of our League of Women Voters of Delaware County members stopped by to monitor the action. #DemocracyInAction
