Oh, save-as just lets you decide what format it's in. If you never chose one, save will default to save-as the first time and then regular save every following time.

Export in SAI, if I remember correctly, only lets you pick certain formats/options ?

Different art software will treat these two things as different behaviors, but save is usually for project files and export is usually for finished images.

So, when you hit ctrl+S it overwrites whatever you last saved as (but not exported)

people griping about the US being in an era of adult cartoons that hold the hand of the viewer's inner child, but I don't think that's really the whole picture...and even if it was, I think a lot of adults here need that right now,

Depends on what you're doing how many you need, but don't forget to name your layers so you can remember what's on them (Procreate discourages this for some reason)
