Starting to work through my next cosplay. Got my reference pieces made and stumbling my way across each piece.
This is going to be my first time working with foam armor, so I'm having to study for every step and I'm probably going to need to remake these pieces later, but it's fine!

Ive been practicing with an embroidery machine and made some patches, but I didn't know where to put them, so I just threw together a little bag.
This is gonna be really nice for Evo!

I won a judges choice award at Combo Breaker!
I was really surprised that the judges remembered me from last year and they really liked Amaterasu, so I think I'm doing something right!
Now how do I improve for next year?😅

Finally finished with my puppet of Amaterasu! I'm gonna be walking her around @combobreaker.org today! (She's in mvc3, it counts)
I'm super happy with how she looks!!

I'm still slowly making progress on the puppet, but it is beginning to actually look like Amaterasu.
The airbrushing only started to look really good at the end, but some of the lines have a cool look to them when the fur is puffed out!

Ok. I've gotten the body frame,head frame and leg bones built, and cut the fur for the body. Got a few other things to design, but once I hem the fur to shape, it gonna start looking like doggy.
Dream goal is have it ready for peak bloom cherry blossoms in dc, but main goal is Combo Breaker in may!

I figured i should try to actually catalog the process of my projects, so I'm gonna try and post updates on what I'm doing.
