I live in Australia, a country that recently voted against recognising indigenous people in our constitution.
Despite this, every report has an acknowledgement of country. Most events, including weddings, starts with either an affirmation or welcome to country. No one finds it a big deal.

I wonder what he thought of Rhodesia...
They're not Murdoch owned, but closely aligned with conservative powerbrokers. Until last year, their chairman was a former deputy party leader of our conservative party. He was forced to resign as chairman after (allegedly) assaulting a reporter live on camera in the middle of Sydney airport.
