Shocking how quickly people pivoted from "copyright is over-enforced and the RIAA is bad" to "copyright is under-enforced and genAI is bad."

I truly do not understand Strategy. I think at this point they just assume that $1 of book value is worth more than $1 to shareholders.

Fun fact: the Times’ editorial policy is that a politician’s age can only be questioned at 79 *and one half* years (81.5 for women), which is why they didn’t focus on this topic at all before the election.

A point I have been making is that, with industry leading false match rates of 1/100,000, if you make a database of 1m undocumented residents, any random person on the street will match on average 10 people!
