Honestly? My intro to sci-fi literature was a couple Foundation books, and they were super boring.
My first fantasy book was a Dragonlance Book, Covenant of the Forge. Which was a lot of fun.

I still like to read, but I've never re-read anything school made me read. Mostly because they make the process terrible.

The Three Musketeers was my favorite book growing up. Had an abridged version at age 6, read the full version in middle school. Still one of my faves.

I love Dave Bautista in Guardians of the Galaxy, which makes it difficult to imagine him playing a villain. But I'm ready to give him a chance.

I'm going to see RoboCop, but I think The Lost Boys is a solid movie that holds up the best over time.

I'm personally of the opinion that if you spend 8 hours or more in the same position, it's probably bad for you. I think sitting at a desk is fine if you get up and walk around every so often. But 8+ hours on your feet can wear on you too.

As of now, LLMs are training using human-created content.
How long until the LLMs start training humans? When trying to make an AI think like a person flips to AIs training humans to think an AI.

What's even more interesting is that the "if you don't like it, then leave" crowd is the same people saying to immigrants escaping terrible conditions, "go back to where you came from."

I think Pacific Rim did alright. Mostly the Idris Elba character, the scientists running around trying to jack into a kaiju brain, and Ron Perlman's black market kaiju parts business.
