A game too far for a few of those players tonight, and it showed in their tired decision making. Need to make better use of the squad in the coming games. Decent point, move on.

As a Burnley fan, I can’t get my head around Stoke. We both had really good spells in the PL, and you were probably our blueprint for a while. But what on earth has happened since for you boys? From the outside, there appears to be a real malaise. What do you do to change it?

It will be an interesting one today. One aspect we have struggled with this season is when momentum has swung, we can’t wrestle it back. If you put us under sustained pressure and disrupt our ‘rhythm’, then chances are you will get something from the game. I’d take a draw now.

Not quite. Went 1-0 up and had some chances to make it 2-0. Bristol C piled on the pressure late on which was expected. We don’t park the bus under Parker, but the build up is v slow and allows the opposition to reset. We have generally played better against teams that attack opposed to a low block.

Thought on the whole he was good today. His best showing. He gets us up the pitch with the his driving runs. Sloppy at times but that could be a said for a lot of the players.

Our best 45 for a long time. Conditions certainly aren’t helping. Encouraging signs that we may have turned a corner.
