You’re obscuring the real argument by focusing on an unimportant detail. Stop trying to distract me from the actual point under discussion. The point is the arguments that are made in the articles. We can discuss the credits of the journalist later.

If you have a copy of the court documents, would you be willing to share them with the writer of these articles? He’s open to any suggestions for improvement, and to any additional evidence. He leaves instructions for doing so at the bottom of every article.

That may turn out to be the case, as a survivor, at present I’m reserving judgement.
Nonetheless, the point is that on the left, ethics outweigh tribalism. On the right, the opposite seems to apply.
And if it WAS a smear campaign, that makes their motives all the more interesting.
