I’m kinda surprised you don’t include goblins with the short set, though the halfling is giving off goblin vibes to me.

There’s also the fact that both are technically offshoots of other religions (Gnosticism of Christianity, and Buddhism of Hinduism) and both deal with themes of escape (Gnosticism dealing with an escape from the physical world and Buddhism from the cycle of reincarnation).

Never been particularly religious myself, but honestly, between Gnosticism and Buddhism, those two are the most believable to me. Incidentally, I can’t be the only one who sees parallels between the two religions, right?

So what trio’s up next? Humans, elves, and orcs, or something more “exotic”?
