One thing I love about the majority of the one piece community is how inviting and anti-gatekeeping we are. We get so fucking excited when new people begin their voyage that the vibes always turn into this. Cannot stress enough how jealous I am of people who get to read this story for a first time

It will always be extremely funny that Peter Jackson tried making a LOTR2 trilogy out of the fucking Hobbit. This (barely) 300 page children’s book is so brief and breezy and nowhere near the scale of LOTR so clearly a 9 hour adaptation is the right move. My bookmark is where the first movie ends
