The EU is made up of different countries, languages, customs, and is knit together by self interest. That self interest is encouraging them to combat the Silicon Valley oligarchs in their attempts to take over and run things in ways that benefit THEM rather than those who don’t want to be consumed.

The West has been Bundy-fied. Now ranchers graze their stock on public land for a penny of what it would cost to buy their own feed or land for pasturing their cattle. Wasn’t fair years ago and is even less fair now. This is expected behavior from a king letting his barons exploit their serfs. 25th!
