I'm Mutgren, your friendly Dwarven craftsman and I run Dads Old Shop. The shop streams mostly woodworking handcam streams, but also some variety and gardening based content. In the future, we're looking to also offer blacksmithing content too!

Mid-break update; everything's cool. I'll likely stay on streaming break until January, I desperately need to organize the Old Shop.
In the new year, I think I'll start non-craft streaming on Twitch. I really like YouTube being just crafting, but I don't always have entertaining projects.

Welp, it was a good run. Last night I got a little power tool bite. All good, I thought the band saw had stopped spinning, but it had just enough oomph to give me some teeth. No stitches, just band aid. I'm sure it'll feel great when it get smacked in volleyball tonight, lol.

Last Volleyball match went well! This was the first game that my mechanics weren't the primary issue, it was game sense and positioning. Thankfully people on my team have been very helpful.
I did get a service ace on a float serve to win game 2 of a match, that was good, that felt like drugs.

Volleyball went well tonight! Won 50% of our games. We had a someone who's a D3 player show up, man they were good! Everyone's being super nice now that they realize I'm brand new to volleyball.
I got a few services aces and that felt real good.

My daughter got a frog stress-ball from somewhere. It felt kinda, tacky, so I decided to throw it on the wall and it was. I then yeeted it into the ceiling thinking it'd get stuck for a minute or so, something reasonable.
4 days later gravity remembered that frog.
