Agreed. The Switch upgrade made sense. It put Nintendo in a position to have more 3rd party support. Speed running a next-next gen in the current climate is beyond tone deaf. I have regretted going Xbox this gen, but my Switch 2 has all but replaced it.

100% accurate. I can't imagine what these things are going to cost. We're in the only console gen I have experienced that the consoles have gotten MORE expensive. We don't need a new gen. We need them to take advantage of the existing hardware.

Why though?
I just don't see what the hook for a new console is at this point. It made sense for Nintendo to upgrade the Switch. It feels like they just want this gen behind them. They are going to price people out of mainstream gaming.

It is crazy good on the Switch. I was nervous picking it over Xbox, but zero regrets. Such a great port.

I liked my Original Switch, but the Switch 2 is a game changer. Such a great console. I barely touch my Xbox anymore. The thing just does everything I need it to do. I'm glad developers are taking it seriously.

With the amazing job it appears they did on porting this to the Switch 2, I think it's totally worth it!

I'm of the impression that she likely ends up going mad, but I think he would have taken a much more nuanced approach to it happening.
Am I cool with it either way? No. But I do think he would handle it better than it was delivered to us on the show.

After trying the demo, I think it’s worth buying anyway. The idea of taking a game of that caliber on the go would have blown 12 year old me’s mind playing the original when it dropped!
