I couldn't get into the show. I read all the Foundation books, the 2nd Foundation trilogy, the Empire novels, the Robot novels, all the connecting books, and pretty much all he wrote.

No, it's not the same. Science fiction is based on science, fantasy is based on make believe. I like hard science fiction where it is proven by science but humans just aren't there yet. I'm not into fantasy at all. I can't stand it when people combine the two.
