Adeline's pronouns are she/her, but she would describe her gender as "Whatever you find most convenient to address me as." Genuinely unattached as long as you aren't using a gender as an insult.
For her sexuality, depending on the day, it would either be; "Good luck", "Uh, repressed..?", or a shrug.

Y'know, that's really validating and I feel a lot less silly about not being able to pick (1) 'default.'
And with that in mind, it might also be worth it for me to also just do outfit showcases too since I tend to like designing ones with lots of toggles for myself... this is sparking thoughts.

I think I will do my best to try and take a crack at it! Gpose (and worse, single outfit and hair selection) are basically ultimate challenges to me- but I always sigh longingly when I see character sheets, and I'll never get it if I don't at least make more attempts!

These are SO well done!!! I love all of the details that you included, and how everything both flows really well and yet at the same time stands out. Plus the perfect lighting and varying layouts in all of them... ough... amazing.
Really makes me want to try and make a character sheet myself 🤔.

Although they failed, it took a lot of effort to secretly finish her work, get a fast thesis defense, publish, and make it both publicly available and non-profit. As a final 'fuck you', she left Sharlayan before it was printed and her family could figure it out, vowing at the time to never return.

While she can understand taking advantage of a bad situation, she always loathed that it was against her parent's values. However, what drove the final nail in the coffin for her was when they conspired to steal her research and attempt to put it (and the profits) under one of her cousin's names.

On personal levels, her distaste stems mainly from familial experiences. They are staunch Bibliothecs, and used her parent's deaths as a rallying point to not only campaign for furthering isolationist policies, but also ended up with enough public support for a Forum seat at the end because of it.

On a moral level she finds Sharlayan egotistical and overly hypocritical at best. At worst she views them as an active hinderance and obstacle to the betterment of the star. Her stance is that knowledge should be used for the betterment of all, and not even gods can be bystanders in destiny.

For Adeline it is absolutely, 100%, Old Sharlayan and the surrounding Isles. There is nowhere in the world that she hates quite so much, on both a personal and moral level.
And she says this as an insider and native; she was born and raised there, and comes from an old and affluent Sage family.

Canon lore is like a suggestion to me. I like to know it thoroughly, so I can use the parts of it I find interesting as a basis, but if I can think of something that I like more I will 100% throw it out the window and not even feel bad. I've found it to be much more fun that way.
