Well there is a such thing as practicing wrong. That'll do more damage to your progress than not practicing at all.

I know it sucks but there's no easy way to get better.

You just have to practice drawing faces from different angles using multiple references. Overtime you'll see that facial features are spaced accordingly like eyes from ears and lips from nose. Theres no "trick" to it, you just gotta keep drawing from life.
