We keep hearing on “the news” that about 51% of the US does not approve of ICE and deployment of out-of-state guardsmen & women into democratic cities. WTF is wrong with the 49% who do? We’re SO despising those idiots.

I never felt badly for myself, just PISSED about the republicans & insurance companies being in collusion to fleece us. The ACA helped loads of people but now it’s being destroyed. Somehow, someway we just have to get even with the criminals. 🤨

A local, self-employed friend gambled on not paying for health insurance 15 years ago. He discovered he had a devastating heart condition & almost died from it many times. He’s been in large debt from
medical expenses ever since & just lost his home to foreclosure. Awful times for him & his family.

When I was 64 & self-employed, I paid $9200 a year for a policy with a $5000 deductible. That was **11** years ago. It was a huge % of my income but I didn't want to chance going without health insurance. Now repukes want to slash medicare benefits, even though we pay dearly for them every month. 🤬
