A Death in Denmark by Amulya Malladi
This Nordic mystery follows Detective Gabriel Praest on a case set in Copenhagen. The characters are very full and the story takes you to a lot of unexpected places. Part Robert B. Parker - Part Jo Nesbo. #booksky💙📚

In this spooky season I’m going back to a classic novel, Salem’s Lot by Stephen King. The slow build in the beginning is what makes it great. You really get to know the characters before the horror begins. I recently reread it. It’s still just as good! #booksky 💙📚

How Fascism Works: The Politics of Us and Them by Jason Stanley is a breakdown of how fascist politics and ideals spread throughout a society. I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in learning how to identify fascist politics, ideology, and motivations.

“It's been a while since I recommended a book to you all so today I recommend James Patterson's “Witch and Wizard” series. It's a slightly darker, more gritty fantasy novel made for young adults/adults. It is a very dramatic series following siblings & their struggles with magic.”

In honor of Ringo Starr’s 85th birthday, I’m reading the Yellow Submarine graphic novel by Bill Morrison. It manages to capture the oddness and the splendor of the movie. Check it out!
Happy Birthday Ringo! #PeaceandLove ✌️💛

It Gets Better Except When It Gets Worse by Nicole Maines

I love a good celebrity memoir, and this one was both snarky and informative. I also love her work for #DCComics including the Dreamer graphic novel based on her character from #Supergirl. #booksky 📚💙
