Smart move, some of the PSUs are now suffering from a short that causes full current to all components and destroys the units. I've seen it twice this year alone. In one case, the short also caused the output current to reverse polarity.

Congrats. Make sure to image the HDD, that way if it dies, you can rebuild it.

I miss these two or more in one system. They always were fun to work with. The last one I had was an Amiga 4000D with a Bridge Board 486 and a Mac ROM board to run Apple software. Good times, good times.
