Look East at about 10PM to catch some of the most iconic winter constellations, Orion and Taurus. Also visible with the naked eye is the moon, Jupiter, and the Pleiades. If you have a telescope or a pair of binoculars, you might be able to see all of Jupiter’s Galilean moons!

Look in the East for the constellation Leo and the radial point. The radial point is the spot in the sky where meteors appear to come from. Meteor showers are named after the constellation where the radial point is. The radial point is in Leo so they’re called the LEOnids.
