Transformers/Ghostbusters released in 2019 by IDW. A team-up between both franchises, an Autobot version of the iconic Ecto-1 car was featured as a new character. The character also received a toy. #Ghostbusters #Transformers

In 1992, Dark Horse released Robocop vs Terminator. A comic series featuring the two 80s icons fighting for the first time. A video game adaptation of the comic was released soon after. The two would later appear again together in Mortal Kombat 11 and Fortnite. #Robocop #Terminator

In 2011, Spin Master and Marvel created a series of Marvel-themed Bakugan toys. Iron Man, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Captain America, and Red Skull (for some reason) all recieved toys. More were planned, but never released to the public. #Marvel #Bakugan

In 1996, Star Trek/X-Men was released by Paramount Comics. A crossover with the original series of Trek, the X-Men are transported to the future where they meet the crew of the Enterprise. A sequel was made with The Next Generation, as well as a novel. #X-Men #StarTrek #XMen

In 1996, four animated shows had a crossover event involving a new character named The Warrior King. Plot elements and the character himself crossed over from cartoons based on Mortal Kombat, Savage Dragon, Wing Commander, and Street Fighter. #MortalKombat #StreetFighter

In 2013, Archie published Worlds Collide, one of several meetings between Mega Man and Sonic. The comic was successful enough to get a sequel in 2015, Worlds Unite, containing even more Sega and Capcom properties. #MegaMan #Sonic #Archie

In Dead or Alive 4 (2005), the character of SPARTAN-458 was added to the roster. Created by Tecmo with collaboration from Bungie, 458 (aka Nicole) is considered canon to the Halo universe despite appearing in DOA first. Brought back in time to compete, 458 brought Nassau Station with her. #Halo #DOA

In 2010, Konami and Capcom made several crossovers between Metal Gear and Monster Hunter. In Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Snake could embark on hunts against various monsters, including a brand-new wyvern based on REX. Cosmetics based on Snake also appear in Monster Hunter P3. #MGS #MonsterHunter

In 2012, Tecmo Koei released Pokemon Conquest for the Nintendo DS, a strategy game featuring Pokemon, the gameplay of Nobunaga's Ambition, and the character design of Samurai Warriors 3. Tecmo collaborated with Nintendo again for the successful Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors. #Pokemon

In Tekken 7, Negan from the Walking Dead was added as a DLC character on February 28, 2019. Every other guest character in the game is a Japanese-developed game character, with Negan being the only American-made character in the game. #Tekken #TheWalkingDead #Crossover
