It's going to be another hot one, so be more Pat and remember to dress accordingly. Here he is as Klove, along with Christopher Lee as you-know-who, in 'Scars Of Dracula' (Hammer, 1970)

We know it's hard to believe given the transformative power of that wig and moustache, but it really is Pat as Bennet (not Peter Wyngarde himself!) alongside Simon Oates as Broggi, in 'That Isn’t Me It’s Somebody Else' (Jason King, S01E26 ATV 1972)

Patrick as Councillor Doone in 'Lorna Doone' (BBC, 1976).

Always the professional, Patrick was alleged to have grown the fake hair and beard for the role, relatively small as it was.

Patrick as Father Brennan, opposite Gregory Peck as Robert Thorn, in The Omen (Richard Donner, 1976). One of the finest horror films of the 1970s, and Brennan's final scene is one of the most memorable.

Oh my word it's meant to be a warm one over the next few days! So be more Pat and dress (and drink) accordingly

Time for a little drinkie? It is #Paturday after all.

Peter Halliday (Packer), Patrick, Frazer Hines (Jamie), and others sink a few pints of the black stuff on location at the Guinness brewery in Park Royal whilst filming Doctor Who 'The Invasion' (BBC, 1968)

Patrick as Roger McBride, alongside Billie Whitelaw as his wife Doreen, in 'He Rises on Sunday and We on Monday' (Espionage, S01E05 ITV 1963).

They would both go on to star in The Omen (Richard Donner, 1976) alongside Gregory Peck, but the pair do not share screen time together.

Patrick, and fellow Doctor Jon Pertwee, were a regular double-act on the convention circuit in the 80s

Pic 4 also includes Peter Davison, Colin Baker and an obscured Lala Ward

16/07/23 - a blue heritage plaque in honour of Patrick is unveiled at Mill Hill School. He attended 1933-37.

Among many faces from Doctor Who present that day was Sylvester McCoy, who attributed Patrick's brilliant turn as the Second Doctor for allowing the show to flourish.
