So Trump warmly welcomed the new president of Syria to the WH. Sure says Trump, he had some "rough" things in his background (like being called a terrorist by the US).

So does this mean Trump is about to find a warm place in his heart for the newly elected mayor of NY?
Nah.

Trump team claims tariffs stop the "emergency" of trade imbalances (not an emergency, been that way for decades) and stops fentanyl (how? excuse me?).
How do they explain a 39% tariff on Swiss imports, when we have a trade surplus with Switzerland & they send us zero fentanyl?

WH spokesperson: "Trump is the most transparent president we've ever had."

Yup. It's pathetically clear to all that he's cruel, selfish, a criminal, and really stupid. Everything he says and does makes that transparently clear.

Hey, MAGA supporters. I know a lot of you are working hard supporting your families, or are disabled, or are caring for an elderly relative and can use some help with grocery prices, especially these days.
Do you hear what the GOP calls you? Lazy, fat, undeserving, & that's just getting started.

As poor Americans are bracing for a famine, we see GOP working earnestly to block not only SNAP food relief but also taking away affordable health care. Sadly, the burden of all this is falling on the states that have supported Trump most; his policies are hurting his own.

Most modern fantasy is set in something like Europe's Middle Ages. But how good a job do they do in depicting medieval society?

Nothing says "Give me the Nobel Peace Prize" like having your Secretary of Defense declare that we're already at war with somebody or other.
Hegseth: "We are not building for peacetime. We are pivoting the Pentagon and our industrial base to a wartime footing. Building for victory should our adversaries FAFO."

Walmart is claiming the price for a "complete" Thanksgiving dinner is down. Trump plays along.
Note the 2025 dinner has a smaller turkey (about 20% smaller), no pecan pie, no rolls or muffins, no sweet potatoes, no topping for the pumpkin pie, and no celery (! no celery?!).

Well, he was in essence on the ballot, and that's a big part of the reason Republicans did so badly.
