Since I can't edit I just wanted to clarify that I mean no disrespect to ICU nurses. Only saying that in this specific situation, the emphasis on VA matters.

This is why it is important to identify Alex not "just" as an ICU nurse but specifically as VA nurse. That distinction matters.

If this is going to be done, mutual aid needs to be set up PRIOR to any strike, otherwise it will not be sustainable. Federal employees are barred by law from striking but I would guess a lot would be willing to fork over $ to assist. Especially now...
