The reviews have started! Thrilled to be able to pitch to some of the top horror producers working today, but I’d love to extend my reach with a film literary agent. If any of my mutuals/followers have any suggestions or connections to such, please reach out!

While comic pitching slows due to a recovering distribution system, I’ve decided to dust off a horror script and send it to some film contacts I’ve made thanks to interest in adapting my comic work.
The script is outlined. Act one is written. The scares are scary and the spooks are spooky.

Got to drop by @mingchen37.bsky.social’s booth after a busy Sunday to drop off Death Comes for the Toymaker, Grandma Tilly’s Hell-Tech, and Something Beyond the Petrichor. Thanks so much for being so cool, Ming!

I’m pretty aware of time zone differences. As an east coaster, my rejection emails tend to come in at COB west coast time.
What I didn’t expect, was a call from a Hollywood producer wanting to chat about one of my comics during bubble bath time.
Few get that call.
Fewer get that call full naked.

Currently sitting at a pretty quiet con with pen in hand, but all in-progress scripts have been turned in/finalized. That means I need a new project.
If you’re a publisher or editor looking for a writer, please get in touch! I can start today.

I pick up a copy of Death Comes for the Toymaker written by @dakotabrown.bsky.social at Chattanooga Comic Con. This #graphicnovel looks so bad ass! I love the imagery and the idea of Death coming for Santa.

Script complete (barring some formatting and minor edits).
Writer friends: can you point me in the direction of your favorite agents? I’m working with a book-to-film agent for comic adaptations, but haven’t made any connections for straight manuscript representation.
