I think this poll and its results are pretty interesting, Translations were released 2 years ago, available for a good while before that.

It was a highly requested feature that generated lots of positive feedback for being privacy […]

I'm watching people in my feed screaming at each other over Firefox's "AI kill switch" this morning with some trepidation.

As far as I'm concerned, Firefox already has an AI kill switch. It's called `browser.ml.chat.enabled`, I set it to `false` more or less the day it appeared, it hasn't […]

All the talk about x generating gross images and what could possibly be done about it reminds me that when I was a teen photoshop refused to load the £10 notes we scanned to counterfeit money, but gonna assume the poeple in charge were never as concerned about this type of imagery to do the same

I did that thing where I went into the fancy organic shop (roots & fruits) today, picked up some cheese without checking the price and almost choked when they said it was £6.10 for a 200g block of cheese, but paid anyway in that embarassed "I knew what I was doing way"

Pretty pastel sunrise yesterday morning on the Clyde. Absolutely baltic though.

I went to a Cartier-Bresson exhibition while I was in Toronto and seen this, was curious to see in a documentary today that he didn't actually take the photo, he passed his camera to a friend.

Focalpoint 52 - Setting Goals

I can *mostly* capture a decent photo when there is one in front of me and have learnt a bit about what the making of a good photo is but I don't really have much of an eye yet for making good photos so that is what I want to work on […]

Focalpoint 52 - Something Familiar

Going to try this weekly prompt challenge again, first one is from a wander I regularly make down the clyde.

I was watching "Honey Don't", and this is probably because I have spent too long in lightroom, but anyone know what is up with that dark spot by his neck, seems slightly visible on his back as well and under arm as well.

Seems like post processing artifacts, but […]

Managed to sneak in a cheeky gig before New Year and it was a great one

"As Calum spends the last song walking upside down across the ceiling it’s hard to emphasise any more how much this is the time to catch the next San Jose show […]

More album of the year lists and my contribution to isthismusic.coms best albums of the year was Lambrini Girls - Who Let the Dogs Out

I can count more than a few times bands with crazy exciting live shows never quite capture the same atmosphere in a recorded […]

Merry Christmas!

A day late since yesterday was absolute madness in the best way. Everyone was very pleased with their presents, I made myself ill from eating too much, it was a success.

I was watching Nativity last night, old british comedy film that had a scene involved schoolboys dressed in womens clothes in a play and I found myself saying "wouldn't get away with that these days" and got scared I had turned into yer da for a second but I think I am ok?

Made a start on my first zine, something I want to do a lot more of next year, if anyone familiar with printing photos / making zines / print design etc wanted to give it a look over and give tips would be highly appreciated.

Random wanders while christmas shopping. I found the "24 hour access" funny and am drawn to photograph that bus stop every time I see it and I can't figure out quite why.
