THE Michelangelo didn’t appear to paint many florals but there are a couple of artists with the first name Michelangelo (Cerquozzi or Caravaggio) who painted floral still lifes so maybe it could be one of them?

On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me: six geese-a-laying, FIVE GOLD RINGS, four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree. Goose, calling bird, hen, dove, partridge and pear omelette. Yum.
