Anyone love mysteries set in the 1950's?I can't recommend @playwrightsteve.bsky.social Stephen Spotswood's series enough. Pentacost and Parker, two detective gals who solve murders; one has serious intution and MS, the other worked in the circus and is a crack shot. And lots of diverse relationships

New knitter here... My first sock had tons of mistakes but the second one is easier. Imagine that! 🧶 I'm trying to learn dpns, 9" circs and magic loop. It'd be nice to use the easiest method. 😳😉

I found the video helpful only when I couldn't get a certain stitch clear from a book, otherwise I don't watch videos. I have started a sock (new knitter here) on 9" circulars.. The cuff has a million errors but I'm keeping on...need to learn this. I like this better than dpns!

As if I didn't have enough WIP's, I've added a pair of socks for my husband's friend. So now I have 5 going! I guess it's crochet all the time... Keeping me sane.

I bought this Westbend bread maker about a year ago. I use it once a week and like that it makes loaves in a normal loaf shape, not upright. It also makes larger loaves than normal 2, 2 1/2, 3 lb. I got it at Amz, but Kohls and Wal-Mart have it. I think mine was $99.
