#3: It took me much longer to get through Luminous Arc 2 than expected. It takes some weird steps back in design choices compared to the first game, including a smaller roster and less clarity in combat. It's a decent strategy RPG with uneven difficulty and a setting full of familiar anime tropes.

#2: I've cleared a few runs of Shape of Dreams now. I know there's plenty more to do, but I have to admit I'm so fatigued with action roguelites at this point. This game is a clever take on the genre with MOBA-inspired mechanics, but I would like to play a Different Kind of Video Game.

I think a big part of the reason nuance gets destroyed when criticizing AI is because the worst use cases are so bad that any defense of its benefits reads as a concession. I would be willing to entertain a defense of those benefits when AI is not infesting every aspect of my life and work.

#1: Octopath Traveler 0 is an incredibly content-rich addition to a series I absolutely love. While Octopath 2 is a more consistent and higher quality game overall, Octopath 0 is crunchier and grindier in a way that I find immensely satisfying. It also has a phenomenal soundtrack; Nishiki kills it.

I permanently migrated my Trails games to PC starting with Reverie. I barely touch any console these days. I have one (1) Nintendo Switch 2 game and haven't played a PS5 game since Unicorn Overlord. Just feels like a hassle.

#49: Super Robot Wars Y: Although I had some gripes with this game, I thought it was pretty great overall. It's the first SRW since OGMD that actually has some teeth on its hardest difficulty. It also has decent diversity of objectives and strategies and a solid roster. I may check out DLC later!

That sounds like a pretty ringing endorsement of Taskmaster Australia. I've gotta check it out.
