A heartfelt thank you to FOD and to Maths Explorers for providing such an exceptional learning experience!

The children were encouraged to think, question, and investigate like true mathematicians as they tackled a range of challenges and puzzles. The sessions were engaging, dynamic, and energising, with every child fully committed to exploring solutions and embracing the joy of mathematical discovery.

To celebrate Maths Week at Dalmain, FOD generously funded an inspiring maths workshop for Upper KS2, delivered by the fantastic team at Maths Explorers, Rita and Penny.

We really enjoyed reading our key text this week ‘How many Jelly Beans?’ this morning. We then had a go at estimating how many jelly beans there are in our class jar. There were so many guesses, from twenty to one trillion! @dalmainps.bsky.social @ncetm.bsky.social
