Really, I think you could pick just about any Trek and have a good time, other than Enterprise.
It gets better, but ENT’s rough start is worse than other Star Trek’s of the time.
And I mean, I think Picard Season 3 is crappy nostalgia bait, but no one is starting with S3, so there’s no worries there
