I kind of never realized how much this brown looks like the eye color of my mom’s family until today.

For better or worse, I bashed out a glaze kiln load to get it in tomorrow when my sister will have a tattoo appt and be near her kiln. It’s gonna be mostly bugs 😂 I’ve had some people askin about them and am really hoping to turn them with the holidays. It’s gonna be a lame kiln with only 5 colors

Doing some really horrible testing with an air brush in prep for spraying just the edges of the guitar I’ve been working on. First pic is a junk guitar to gauge spray patterns. Second is my friend who loves airbrush shirts name and last is the difference a tiny bit of toner on the binding makes.

Didn’t cry once. I think using a brand new good bit and a pin vise instead of an electric drill was the correct move. These red dots are kind of a gretsch oddity. A well know repair person turned me on to the red Japanese pencil lead I used to replace the markers. They actually look pretty cool.

New pedal made by my neighbor. This one is basically his signature pedal. Tragically my amp is on the fritz so I really haven’t gotten to play it.

Got a new print plus some bonus goodies from Quarry House Press who I don’t think is on here! But I’m very excited about the Hexing the Familiar print and need to go through the horrific decision of whether to give the snake print to my sister or not.

New little candle holders I slapped together to get rid of some small leftovers. I hate leaving bags of clay around with 1/2lb of clay. I said I wasn’t gonna make any more wall candle holders but these are simple and I think a good use of those tar paper templates.

Rat king pie pan per the suggestion of another potter friend.
Allegedly this clay, iceman holds up really well in the oven. Might have to make my sister make a bunch of pies in it. My mom probably won’t use it since it has the no kings symbol lol
